These guidelines apply to the current website, forms, referrals, business inquiries, and any early table coordinated by MazelMeet.
Community guidelines
Effective July 14, 2026
MazelMeet is being built for real Jewish connection across countries, languages, traditions, and levels of observance. These standards protect the people behind every signup.
Be truthful
Use your own identity and current contact details. Businesses must describe their venue, services, kashrut, accessibility, and offers accurately. Do not create duplicate or automated submissions to change a country or city count.
Respect people and differences
Treat people with dignity across gender, orientation, race, nationality, disability, language, Jewish background, denomination, and level of observance. Preferences may be personal, but humiliation, slurs, threats, coercion, and targeted harassment are not welcome.
Protect privacy
Share only information that belongs to you. Do not publish, forward, photograph, or record another person or a private home without clear permission. Never use a referral, business inquiry, or table connection to collect member contact information.
Keep early gatherings safe
When an early table is offered, hosts and venues must state relevant house rules, accessibility, kashrut, alcohol, cost, and timing before guests accept. Guests choose whether to attend and are responsible for their own travel and personal safety. Call local emergency services when someone is in immediate danger.
No spam or pressure
Do not use the site for chain messages, fundraising, political solicitation, deceptive promotions, or repeated contact after someone asks you to stop. Business outreach belongs in the partner inquiry form, not in member channels.
Sponsored means visible
Every paid placement will carry a clear Sponsored label beside the placement in English, or ממומן in Hebrew. Sponsorship does not buy member data, matching influence, safety approval, or a disguised personal recommendation.
Report concerns
Send a safety, privacy, impersonation, or conduct concern to hello@mazelmeet.com. Include the minimum information needed for us to locate the issue. We may preserve relevant records, restrict a submission, or contact the appropriate service when safety or law requires it.
How we respond
We review context before acting when circumstances allow. Responses may include a warning, correction request, removal, access restriction, or referral to the appropriate authority. These guidelines do not promise a particular outcome or replace emergency services.
