MazelMeet Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the MazelMeet mobile application and member services. By creating an account or selecting Agree, you accept these Terms and the current Privacy Notice. The Sensitive Information Consent is separate and optional unless you choose a feature that needs that information.

1. Who may use MazelMeet

You must be at least 18, legally able to enter this agreement, and permitted to use the service where you live. Give accurate information, use your own identity, and keep one personal account. You are responsible for protecting your sign in credentials and for activity under your account.

2. What the service provides

MazelMeet is a Jewish connection platform with separate paths for marriage, dating, Shabbat tables, friends, and community. Availability opens city by city. Joining does not guarantee admission, an introduction, a date, an event seat, a relationship, or a launch date. You choose which paths to join, and we do not move you into a romance path without your choice and the required consent.

Matching, interviews, messaging, payments, moderation, and other features operate only when they are enabled for your account and city. We may change, pause, or discontinue a feature for safety, legal, technical, or operational reasons.

3. Profiles, content, and permissions

You keep ownership of the profile text, photos, messages, reports, and other content you submit. You give MazelMeet a limited, worldwide, nonexclusive license to host, copy, display, analyze, moderate, and share that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and support the service according to your settings and the Privacy Notice. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for copies that must be retained for security, legal compliance, dispute handling, or a verified safety investigation.

Only upload content you have the right to share. Do not impersonate anyone, misstate your age or relationship status, post another person's private information, scrape member data, send spam, evade safety controls, exploit anyone, threaten or harass people, or use the service for unlawful discrimination or commercial solicitation outside an approved business surface.

4. Safety and verification

MazelMeet can review profiles, photos, messages, reports, and account activity to enforce community and safety rules. A badge or review is a trust signal, not a guarantee about a person. Use your own judgment, protect private contact information, meet in public when appropriate, tell someone you trust about plans, and contact local emergency services if there is immediate danger.

The current selfie verification process uses submitted images and account evidence for review by authorized people. MazelMeet does not currently create a facial recognition or biometric identity template from that selfie. If this changes, we will provide a separate notice and obtain any consent required before that processing begins.

5. Matching and automated tools

When enabled, automated systems may help organize profile information, prepare compatibility suggestions, summarize an interview, detect risky text, or prioritize material for human review. A person reviews introductions before they are released where the product says human review applies. A score or suggestion is not a promise and does not decide whether you should meet someone. Members make their own decisions and may decline an introduction.

6. Subscriptions and Apple billing

Paid consumer access at launch is limited to auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple In-App Purchase, and only when MazelMeet enables them. Consumer credit packs, consumer gifts, Google Play billing, Stripe billing, and web checkout are not launch payment methods.

Before purchase, the app will show the current price, billing period, included access, and renewal terms. Apple charges your App Store account and manages renewal, cancellation, and eligible refund requests under Apple's rules. Subscriptions renew until canceled in your Apple account settings. Deleting MazelMeet does not cancel an Apple subscription. MazelMeet grants paid access only after the server confirms a valid Apple transaction. Free access remains available as described in the app.

Your use of the iOS application is also subject to Apple's standard end user license terms and App Store rules. Nothing in these Terms changes rights that Apple or applicable consumer law gives you.

7. Other people, places, and services

Members, matchmakers, hosts, venues, event organizers, and linked services are responsible for their own conduct and offerings. MazelMeet may introduce people or display reviewed information, but it does not control an off platform conversation, private home, venue, transportation, food, religious practice, or personal decision. Sponsored placements are labeled and cannot buy member data, matching influence, admission, or safety approval.

8. Enforcement and account closure

We may warn, limit, suspend, or close an account when reasonably necessary to protect members, investigate abuse, comply with law, or enforce these Terms. You may stop using the service and request verified account deletion through the app or by contacting privacy@mazelmeet.com. Some narrow records may remain when required for fraud prevention, safety preservation, transaction records, legal obligations, or dispute resolution, as explained in the Privacy Notice.

9. Service limits

MazelMeet is provided on an available basis. To the extent the law permits, we do not promise uninterrupted access, a particular result, compatibility, member conduct, or the accuracy of information supplied by another person. We do not exclude any warranty, remedy, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where a liability cap is permitted, MazelMeet's total liability for claims connected with the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid MazelMeet during the previous 12 months or 100 United States dollars.

10. Changes, law, and contact

We may update these Terms. A material change requires a new version and renewed acceptance before continued protected use. Your mandatory rights under local law remain available. Where a choice of law is permitted, California law governs these Terms, without overriding consumer protections that apply where you live.
